JETKids FAQ's

Does my child need to enroll at the beginning of a session?
You may enroll at anytime. We will simply prorate the tuition to reflect the number of weeks remaining in
the session.

What class should I enroll my child in?
Choosing the right class is key to your child's enjoyment and the overall success of the gymnastics
experience. Our qualified coaching team will evaluate your gymnasts skills, flexibility, strength,
coordination, and emotional readiness to choose the appropriate class.

Unless your child has previous formal gymnastics experience, your child should start in a beginner
class. It is always better for the child to move up to a more advanced level, if necessary, than to move
them back a level. If your child has previous formal gymnastics experience, please request an
evaluation by the recreational director.

Skills test are conducted regularly to ensure that gymnasts who are advancing will be consistently
challenged.

When will my child move up?
Class assignments are determined by skill level and emotional readiness. Skill tests are conducted at
the end of each nine week session - with the exception of the summer session. The decision for a child
to advance to the next level is made by the coach or recreational director and is based on a variety of
factors including strength, flexibility, coordination, mastered skills, and emotional readiness.

What can I do to prevent injuries?
Any sport that involves physical activity involves certain risks of injury. JET coaches place the highest
priority on your child's safety by adhering to strict safety regulations and teaching correct form,
procedures and warmup techniques. For more information on safe gymnastics,

What is the registration fee?

due annually and billed in August. Developmental and team program registrations vary.
