Charitable Events

The Pajama Program, a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization, provides new, warm pajamas and books to children in need in the United States, and around the world, many who are waiting and hoping to be adopted. These are youngster who may not know the comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a warm cozy bed and read them a bedtime story. In December 2007, JETKIDS and their families collected warm pajamas and books for the Pajama Program. These pajamas and books were then passed on to the Jeffco Action Center, right here in Jefferson County, Colorado. During the month of July 2007, JETKIDS participated in a 26 mile marathon for the world’s premier pediatric cancer research center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

All participants had one month to complete a 26 mile marathon. Any form of measurable exercise was acceptable biking, walking, hopping, skipping, rollerblading, swimming. We celebrated the final mile together at Clement Park on Friday, August 3rd with one lap around the lake. A big thank you goes to Christine Heng for organizing this wonderful event, also to the JETKIDS coaches and Genevieve's Full Service Salon for their generous door prizes!
